Miguel Crespo is the director of Cenjor – the Portuguese Training Centre for Journalists, a researcher at CIES-University Institute of Lisbon, and at OberCom – The Portuguese Communication Observatory, and a visiting professor at Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon. A journalist since 1989, he has been editorial director, director and publisher of magazines and online projects, and an editorial consultant. He has been a journalists trainer and professor since 2001. His areas of interest and research are digital communication, new platforms, new formats, media literacy, disinformation strategies and narratives, digital storytelling, media business models and innovation.
